The advertisement was not just a photoshoot but involved motion as well. Her acting skills had already risen to four points so she should be better than before but this was not the case. Shen Chuchu could not figure why but she always felt uncoordinated in some places.

In other words, she knew how to perform but her movements failed to keep up. She had never felt like this before and was able to perform the movements in her head in the last two advertisements she had shot.

At this point, Shen Chuchu already had an answer in her heart but was still unsure and suspicious.

“Ming-ge, what did she say?” Li Zixuan asked in a hurry when she saw the call had ended.

Xinming responded in an overly enthusiastic tone she had never heard before, “Of course there is! It’s something huge! I am coming over to pick you up. The company actually made a mistake on the Han Group contract, it should have been a 7:3 split.”  

Shen Chuchu could not believe her ears. He was still willing to give her a chance after that fierce fight? Could it be that her manager was a masochist and liked it when she was fierce?

Although the company breached the contract and was at fault, there was nothing she could do.

She could only blame herself for being too enticed by the prospect of being a famous star when she left school three months ago.  Even when she felt that something was not right, she still signed the contract without a second thought.

As she looked up at the company name “Mei Jia Entertainment”, Shen Chuchu’s feelings became more complicated.

Shen Chuchu’s company was called Mei Jia Entertainment. Though it wasn’t the largest in the industry, it still had a good bit of prestige to its name. Shen Chuchu had at the very least heard of the company before. If she didn’t, she would never have joined them in the first place.

However, after signing in with the company, Shen Chuchu realized that there were more than a few problems with it. It wasn’t hard for her to understand why the company’s reputation was ambiguous.

At 9:30 am, she arrived at the company’s headquarters and hurried straight towards the elevators. Two people were quietly chatting there, but as soon as Shen Chuchu walked over, they grew silent and focused their attention on her.

Shen Chuchu recognised one of them as Li Yutao, who was the company’s popular idol. He was a trainee who debuted abroad and then signed with Mei Jia when he came back after two years. Not long after he signed, he released an EP* and one of his songs blew up, becoming one of the top ten in last year’s Golden Melody list. Though he could not be compared to the top trending artists, he was fairly accomplished in his own generation of singers. She also heard that he was going to venture into the film industry to develop his career, now that he had successfully made it as a singer.
