Was it really a coincidence? Shen Chuchu thought to herself. As she thought more about it, her slightly sore head from earlier became even more unbearable. Did she drink too much? But according to her intake, she should not be drunk this quickly.

Compared to her follower count on her matchmaking Weibo account, the follower count on this account was simply not enough.

At this thought, Shen Chuchu remembered and logged into her matchmaking account as she had still not completed the free matchmaking service on her Weibo today.

She opened her latest post and scrolled down then stopped her finger. It would be this girl!

*TL-note: Red packets/envelopes is a feature in several Chinese apps (i.e. Wechat) that allows you to send money to another person. In real life, giving red envelopes (lucky money) is a tradition during Chinese New Year and sending red packets via online has become a popular way of gifting people money in China nowadays.

Ever since she received Shen Chuchu’s reminder, Chen Xili went ahead and did some research on the events that occurred in March last year. Although a lot of time had passed since then, there would definitely be some clues left behind if there really was anybody who did something.

In other words, she knew how to perform but her movements failed to keep up. She had never felt like this before and was able to perform the movements in her head in the last two advertisements she had shot.

At this point, Shen Chuchu already had an answer in her heart but was still unsure and suspicious.

Naturally, the director was displeased and continuously instructed Shen Chuchu to repeat the movements.

When Shen Chuchu was getting dizzy from the director’s instructions, a harsh female voice could be heard, “Haha! This is the new representative for the new product? Where did this newbie come from? I’ve never seen her before and the acting is so clumsy. How did the Publicity Department manage to hire someone like her?

Xinming’s heart sank when he heard this and replied, “Haha, yes, the internet is all smoke and mirrors. Executive Liu and Li Zixuan would never have that kind of relationship. You must behave now so I can bring you more future opportunities like the Han Group.”

“Thanks a lot, Ming-ge.” Shen Chuchu hung up once she finished.

“Ming-ge, what did she say?” Li Zixuan asked in a hurry when she saw the call had ended.
